Various diseases affect the bean crop, notably the wilt caused by Rhizoctonia solani and Fusarium spp. The management of these pathogens is mainly with the use of chemical compounds, all of which contribute to environmental pollution, are harmful to humans, phytopathogens develop resistance and increase production costs. The objective of this research was to evaluate the resistance induction response by inoculating endophytic bacteria against R. solani and F. oxysporum. Bean plants of 45 days old were utilized to determine PR protein concentration and the enzymatic activity of peroxidase (POD) and phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) at 6, 12, and 24 h after consortia inoculation. The results showed that endophytic microorganisms have potential as inducers of defense mechanisms in beans, promoting resistance against F. oxysporum and R. solani.
