DETERMINACIÓN DE LOS NIVELES SÉRICOS DE FERRITINA Y CININÓGENO EN PACIENTES CON PREDIABETES

Resumen


Se ha reportado incremento de Ferritina Sérica (FS) en individuos con estados inflamatorios crónicos tales como diabetes y cáncer. Se ha relacionado a cininógeno (HK) en hipertensión arterial, la cual se ha observado modificada desde etapas tempranas de la diabetes. El objetivo de este trabajo fue determinar los niveles de FS y HK en prediabetes. Se incluyeron 103 sujetos en 2 grupos (prediabetes y control). Se observó una elevación de FS (178.66 [± 63.18] vs 81.41 [± 6.92] μg/L, p < 0.0001) y una disminución de HK (456.14 [± 137.67] vs 565.21 [± 112.28] ηg/mL, p = 0.0002) en pacientes con prediabetes vs sujetos control. Mediante análisis univariado se observó que FS mostró asociación negativa con HK (β = -0.0002, p < 0.0369), además se observó asociación positiva FS-sístole (β = 0.0061, p = 0.0354) y FS-diástole (β = 0.0090, p = 0.0369). Sin embargo, se mostró tendencia a asociación negativa de HK-sístole (p = 0.052) y HK-diástole (p = 0.0823). En conclusión, nuestros resultados muestran que existe un incremento en los niveles séricos de FS y disminución de HK en pacientes con prediabetes.
